Richard Olszewski joined Sachs Waldman as an Associate Attorney in November 2016.
He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in May 2016. While in law school, he spent his first summer interning the Federal Mine Safety & Health Commission, where he worked alongside Administrative Law Judges to draft and research decisions regarding safety disputes between mining companies and the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
The next summer, he was awarded a Peggy Browning Fellowship to intern at the AFSCME (International) headquarters in Washington, D.C. As an intern, he researched a variety of issues in connection with projects aiming to increase AFSCME membership nationwide.
He received his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois in 2007. He is admitted to practice in the state of Michigan.
